Terms of service

About These Terms

These terms govern purchases from CALVERN and use of our online clothing and accessories store. Read them together with our Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms restricts mandatory consumer rights.

Eligibility and Website Use

You must have the legal capacity and any necessary authorisation to place an order and use your chosen payment method. Provide accurate contact, delivery and billing information, and keep account credentials secure.

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, commit fraud or infringe another person's rights.

Products and Availability

Product pages describe the relevant clothing or accessory, available options and price. Review the size, colour, materials and care information before ordering. Screen settings may affect colour appearance, but this does not excuse goods that materially differ from their description.

Products are subject to availability. We may update the range or correct information, but changes do not retrospectively remove rights relating to an accepted order.

Prices and Payments

The applicable price, currency and order total are displayed before you complete checkout. Payment methods are shown at checkout. You authorise the payment associated with your order.

Standard Delivery is free. We do not add import duties or taxes at checkout. This statement does not guarantee that an authority will never assess a charge under applicable law.

Optional paid services, where offered, are clearly priced and require your affirmative choice. They are not pre-selected. Prices may change for future purchases without changing an accepted order.

Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt. Acceptance occurs when we confirm dispatch, unless we expressly confirm acceptance earlier.

Before acceptance, we may decline an order for a genuine reason, such as unavailable stock, an unresolved pricing error, failed payment or suspected fraud. We will notify you and refund any payment for items we cannot supply.

If a material error affects your order, we will explain it and ask whether you wish to proceed on corrected terms. We will not impose a higher price without your agreement. After acceptance, our obligations and your statutory rights remain applicable.

Processing and Delivery

We deliver to the United Kingdom and United States, subject to address availability at checkout. Processing takes 2–4 business days. Estimated delivery is 7–12 business days after processing. Business days exclude weekends and applicable public holidays.

The checkout shipping option is Standard Delivery, provided free of charge. Tracking information is supplied after dispatch where available. See our Shipping Policy for further details.

We remain responsible for goods until they are delivered to you or a person you nominate, subject to applicable law. Delivery delays do not remove your legal remedies. Contact us promptly if a parcel is lost or damaged.

Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

UK consumers generally have a statutory right to notify cancellation within 14 calendar days after receipt, followed by 14 calendar days to return the goods, subject to lawful exceptions. Eligible returns are free.

Where separately offered and chosen before purchase, the paid 30-Day Extended Returns option extends the change-of-mind notification period to 30 calendar days. It is voluntary and does not limit statutory rights. Its fee is refunded when the entire order is cancelled within the statutory period or when the law requires.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the items back or proof that you sent them, whichever occurs first, unless another applicable legal rule requires a different deadline.

Faulty goods are subject to statutory remedies, including the short-term right to reject within 30 days. See our Return and Refund Policy for the complete process and cancellation form.

Privacy and Customer Information

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is processed. Tell us promptly about errors in order details. An address correction requested after dispatch may not be possible, but we will explain available options without limiting statutory rights.

Intellectual Property and External Services

Website text, images, branding and other content are protected by applicable intellectual property rights belonging to their respective owners. You may use the website for lawful personal shopping. Other use requires permission unless permitted by law.

External websites and services may have their own terms. Links do not automatically imply endorsement. Using an external provider does not remove our responsibilities for your purchase.

Liability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted website access. However, we remain responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of contract or failure to exercise legally required care.

Nothing excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Product quality, description and other mandatory consumer rights remain protected.

We do not impose an indemnity for normal purchases or the exercise of consumer rights. For deliberate unlawful misuse of the website, we may seek recovery only of losses legally recoverable and caused by that misuse.

Suspension, Changes and Severability

We may restrict website access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security incidents or unlawful activity. This does not cancel valid refund obligations or other rights arising from an existing purchase.

Revised terms apply to future orders. The terms applicable when your order was placed continue to govern that order unless a lawful change is agreed. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where they can operate fairly and lawfully.

Consumer Rights and Contact

Nothing in these terms affects mandatory rights under UK law. Consumers may bring claims in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where they live: England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. Other mandatory rights applicable to your purchase are also preserved.
